How to Use Your iCheckTPMS - Video Guides

To connect your iCheckTPMS sensors, put the monitor into pairing mode, then screw each sensor onto its tyre valve and wait for the reading to appear.

1. Turn the monitor on by holding the plus and minus buttons at the same time.
2. Hold the set and plus buttons for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. This puts the monitor into pairing mode and tyre one starts flashing.
3. Screw sensor one straight onto the tyre valve. The data appears in 20 to 30 seconds.
4. Press plus to move to the next tyre, then screw on its sensor and wait 20 to 30 seconds for the data. In the video the order is tyre two, tyre four, then tyre three.
5. Once all the data has come up, hold the set button for 3 seconds until you hear the beep to save.

To adjust the temperature and pressure settings on your iCheckTPMS monitor, hold the minus button for 3 seconds to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, or hold the plus button for 3 seconds to switch between PSI and bar.

1. Celsius to Fahrenheit: hold the minus button for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. The reading at the top and the readings on all the tyres change over.
2. PSI to bar: hold the plus button for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. All the readings change to the new unit.

To manage the caravan screen on your iCheckTPMS monitor, connect the extra sensors to your caravan, then hold the minus button for 6 seconds to disconnect the screen or the plus button for 6 seconds to reconnect it.

1. Connect the caravan sensors (in the video, sensors 5, 6, 7 and 8 from an eight sensor kit). The RV screen now shows on the monitor, and the display scrolls from vehicle to RV to bearing temperature every 5 seconds.
2. To hide the caravan screen when you are parked and driving away without it, hold the minus button for 6 seconds until you hear the second beep. Press plus to scroll and the RV screen is gone.
3. To bring it back after hitching up again, hold the plus button for 6 seconds until you hear the second beep.

Tip: the sensor location can be customised, so you can set the kit up to suit your caravan.

To identify which tyre is triggering an alert on your iCheckTPMS monitor, look for the exclamation mark and the tyre that is flashing on the screen.

1. When an alert is triggered, an exclamation mark appears on the monitor.
2. Check which tyre position is flashing. That is the sensor alerting and the tyre you need to inspect.

In the video, removing the sensor from tyre one makes the exclamation mark appear and tyre one flash.

To check your spare tyre pressure on your iCheckTPMS monitor, press the plus button while the monitor is showing screen one with your vehicle readings.

The display changes over to the spare tyre reading.

To air down for off-road driving without resetting your iCheckTPMS by hand, use the Intelligent Off-Road Mode: remove the sensor, deflate the tyre, then screw the sensor back on and it automatically reads the new benchmark.

1. Unscrew the sensor from the tyre. In the video, tyre one reads 36 PSI.
2. Deflate the tyre using the iCheckTPMS tyre deflator.
3. Screw the sensor back on. It reads the new benchmark automatically, and tyre one now shows 17 PSI on the monitor.

The video presents this as a unique feature that suits off-road and four-wheel driving.

To replace an iCheckTPMS sensor battery, use the opening tool to loosen the sensor cap, swap the old battery for the new one and tighten the cap back up.

1. Take the opening tool and match its grooves up with the grooves on the sensor.
2. Turn the tool to loosen the cap, then remove the cap.
3. Pop the old battery out and put the new battery in.
4. Tighten the cap back up.

To set up your iCheckTPMS Automatic Tyre Deflators, twist the adjustment ring until it lines up with your target PSI marking, then lock it in place. The method is the same for the clip-on and screw-on versions.

1. Identify the parts: the top is the locking ring and the middle is the adjustment ring.
2. Find your target pressure. For example, for 25 PSI, find the horizontal marking and the vertical notch running up the middle.
3. Twist the adjustment ring clockwise until its bottom lines up with the horizontal marking and the vertical notch.
4. Hold it in place and tighten the locking ring.

To manually connect or reprogramme a sensor on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, enter pairing mode, select the tyre position you want with the plus button, then screw the sensor on.

1. Hold the set and plus buttons for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. Tyre one starts flashing.
2. Press plus to move the cursor to the position you want. In the video this is the front left on the RV.
3. Screw the sensor directly onto the tyre. The reading appears in about 30 seconds.
4. To do another tyre, press plus to scroll along. To save, hold set for 3 seconds until you hear the beep.

To switch your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor from PSI to BAR, hold the plus button for 3 seconds until it beeps. To switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, hold the minus button for 3 seconds until it beeps.

1. PSI to BAR: hold plus for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. The reading changes to bar. Repeat to change back to PSI.
2. Celsius to Fahrenheit: hold minus for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. The temperature reading (the yellow text) changes to Fahrenheit. Repeat to change back to Celsius.

To activate the Wheel Bearing Temperature (BT) Sensors on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, enter pairing mode, scroll to the bearing temperature sensor and hold a magnet against the sensor until the reading appears.

1. Hold the set and minus buttons for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. The airbag sensor position at the top left flashes.
2. Press plus to scroll to the bearing temperature sensor.
3. Place a magnet on top of the sensor, with the little arrow at one end pointing straight along it. When the reading comes up, remove the magnet.
4. For a second sensor, press plus to scroll to the next one and repeat with the magnet.
5. Hold set for 3 seconds until you hear the beep to save.

To deactivate the Wheel Bearing Temperature (BT) Sensors on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, place the magnet directly on the end of each sensor until its reading disappears.

1. Place the magnet directly on the end of the sensor. The reading disappears, which means the sensor is deactivated.
2. Repeat with the magnet on the next sensor. Its reading disappears within a few seconds.
3. Remove the magnet.

Tip: deactivating the bearing sensors extends their battery life when they are not in use.

To adjust the temperature alert for the Wheel Bearing Temperature (BT) Sensors on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, hold the set button, use plus or minus to choose a threshold between 60 and 100 degrees, then hold set again to save.

1. Hold the set button. All the bearing temperature readings flash at the default of 70.
2. Hold the plus or minus button until the reading shows the temperature you want, anywhere from 60 to 100. The video sets 85.
3. Hold the set button to save the new alert threshold.

Tip: the default 70 degree threshold suits most scenarios. Customise it if you are travelling under special conditions.

To install the Airbag (AB) Sensors on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, enter pairing mode, screw the sensor on and save the reading with the set button.

1. Hold the set and minus buttons for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. The airbag sensor reading on the monitor flashes.
2. Screw the sensor on. Locking screws and an Allen key come with it if you want to use them; the video does not use them. The reading comes up on the monitor.
3. For a second sensor, press plus to scroll to the next one. If you are using only one, hold set to save.

Note: airbag sensors give a live pressure reading but have no alert threshold.

To disconnect the RV screen on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, hold the minus button for 6 seconds until you hear the second beep. To reconnect it, hold the plus button for 6 seconds until you hear the second beep.

1. Disconnect: after unhitching the caravan, hold minus for 6 seconds until the second beep. The RV screen disappears.
2. Reconnect: after hitching the caravan back up, hold plus for 6 seconds until the second beep. The RV screen appears again.

To connect or disconnect the Airbag (AB) and Wheel Bearing Temperature (BT) screen on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, press the set button three times until you hear the beep.

1. Disconnect: click set three times. You hear the beep, and the screen no longer appears when you scroll through.
2. Reconnect: click set three times again. You hear the beep, and the screen appears again when you scroll through.

To check alerts on your iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor, look for the exclamation mark at the bottom of the screen and the tyre flashing in the middle graphic, which shows exactly which sensor needs attention.

1. Low tyre pressure: the exclamation mark alert symbol shows at the bottom and the affected tyre flashes in the middle graphic. In the video, removing the sensor drops the reading to zero.
2. Low sensor battery: you hear an audible alert, a battery with a cross through it shows at the bottom left, and the affected tyre flashes. Click set to mute the alert.

Tip: the flashing tyre in the middle graphic tells you exactly which sensor to check.

To download and connect the iCheckTPMS smart monitor app, scan the QR code in your user manual or search for iCheckTPMS in the app store, then select the monitor that matches your monitor ID. The app is available for Apple and Android.

1. Scan the QR code in your user manual, or search for the app in the app store.
2. Have your monitor ID ready. It is on the bottom of the monitor.
3. Allow Bluetooth devices, allow notifications, then tick the scan nearby devices prompt.
4. Select the monitor in the device list that matches your monitor ID. Your readings start to appear once it connects.
5. Click the arrow at the bottom left to switch between tyre pressure, bearing temperature, airbag pressure and fridge temperature sensors.

To manually connect or reprogramme a sensor using the iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor app, delete the sensor from its current position in the settings, then use pairing sensors to connect it to the position you want.

1. Tap the settings cog at the top right, then delete sensors, then tap the individual sensor and confirm. That position goes blank on the TPMS screen.
2. Back in the settings screen, tap pairing sensors.
3. Tap the position you want. It starts to flash.
4. Screw the sensor onto the tyre and the reading appears.

Tip: the settings screen also lets you change pressure units (PSI or bar), temperature units (Celsius or Fahrenheit) and hide or show sensors, for example to hide the caravan sensors when unhitched.

To activate the Wheel Bearing Temperature (BT) Sensors using the iCheckTPMS app, open the bearing temperature screen, go to pairing sensors in the settings and hold the magnet against the sensor. To deactivate, use delete sensors and hold the magnet on the sensor.

1. Activate: tap the arrow at the bottom left to reach the bearing temperature screen, tap the settings cog at the top right, then pairing sensors. The front left sensor flashes; hold the magnet against the sensor and the reading appears. Tap the front right position and repeat for the next sensor.
2. Alert settings: in the settings you can change Celsius to Fahrenheit and adjust the alert threshold. It is set at 70 degrees Celsius and adjustable from 60 to 100.
3. Deactivate: choose delete sensors in the settings, hold the magnet onto the sensor so the reading disappears, then tap the sensor on screen and confirm to delete.

To install the Airbag (AB) Sensors using the iCheckTPMS 4-in-1 Smart Monitor app, open the airbag screen, go to pairing sensors in the settings, select the position and screw the sensor on. The reading appears after 30 seconds.

1. Navigate to the airbag screen using the arrow at the bottom left.
2. Tap the settings cog at the top right and select pairing sensors.
3. Tap the desired sensor and screw the sensor on. The reading appears after 30 seconds.
4. To change units, go to the settings screen, select pressure unit and choose PSI or bar.

Tip: you can run up to four airbag sensors, for example two on your vehicle and two on your caravan. Airbag sensors have no alert threshold because airbag pressure varies constantly.

To check alerts in the iCheckTPMS smart monitor app, look for the alert notification and the affected sensor flashing red. Low pressure, low battery and fridge temperature alerts each look slightly different.

1. Low pressure: the pressure drops, an alert notification comes through and the affected sensor flashes red.
2. Low battery: the sensor flashes red and a battery with a cross through it shows on the affected sensor.
3. Fridge temperature: you receive an alert notification and the down arrow flashes red. Open it to see fridge temperature flashing red. The alert clears once the fridge returns to normal operating conditions.
4. Airbag pressure: there is no alert threshold, so the reading drops without an alert.

To activate your fridge temperature sensor using the iCheckTPMS app, open the fridge temperature screen, go to pairing sensors in the settings and hold the magnet against the sensor. To deactivate it, place the magnet on the end of the sensor and confirm the delete prompt.

1. Navigate to the fridge temperature screen using the down arrow at the bottom left.
2. Tap the settings cog at the top right, then pairing sensors.
3. Tap the sensor position to activate and hold the magnet against the sensor. The reading appears.
4. To deactivate, place the magnet on the end of the sensor. The app prompts you to delete; click the tick.

Tip: in the settings you can change Celsius to Fahrenheit and adjust the high and low alert temperatures, from 10 degrees down to minus 20 degrees Celsius.
